I just discovered MadKast via Brad Feld’s blog.
If you don’t know who Brad is and don’t know his blog, you should. He’s a VC, but in a good advice-sharing-knows-what-he’s-talking-about kind of way, as opposed to the arrogant-not-going-to-give-YOU-money-but-will-provide-insults-for-free kind of way.
MadKast adds a little "share" icon to each post, like this:
and when you click it, this nice bit of magic pops up:
Yup. One click to share by email, mobile or IM, plus tags for all the common bookmarking sites. I believe it will remember ID’s from session to session, so if you regularly share with the same person, life just gets easier…
If you’re running TypePad, it takes all of 15 seconds to set up, and as far as I can tell it works like a champ.
Kudos to the team at MadKast — this looks like a nice app that provides some useful functionality.
