<description>Well I guess it is a small world after all -- you found this article awfully fast!

Grumpy? No. Life is good here. Just calling things as I see them. But I do sincerely appreciate you taking the time to respond to my post.

I agree 100% with the points you make in your comment. It really does cost a lot less to start something, no matter who you are. And competitive advantage is absolutely something that should be exploited.

The issue I had was simply the notion that anyone could easily have the same level of success as you for $12k. Is it impossible? No. But you do have a huge head start over an average guy (pun intended).

Now if you can be hired to present any company to the world for $12k, I&#039;d say that&#039;s a bargain!

Thanks for the comments and clarification...

<description>Are you in a bad mood? Yes, I had considerable advantages, but is that my fault?

Here are some conclusions to draw from what I did:

- Get going or you&#039;ll wake up 24 years from now without the ability to launch something with $12,000. As the Chinese say, &quot; You have to wait a long time for a roast duck to fly into your mouth.

- Okay, Guy can do it for $12,000, but I&#039;m not Guy. So maybe it takes me $120,000. Still, $120,000 is a long way from the old days of sucking up to VCs for 6 months to raise $1 million.

- Entrepreneurship isn&#039;t about playing on a level field. It&#039;s about tilting the field to your advantage. Wherever you are in life, take advantage of the situation by getting to know the press, analysts, customers, and vendors for your next life.

The only thing worse than flaunting your competitive advantages is not using them.
